BINAY’s Handheld UVC Germicidal Blade is a portable UVC decontamination device designed to deactivate bacteria, viruses and fungi in locations where quick and easy action is required, and where traditional decontaminating devices are inconvenient to use.
Common applications are in healthcare, laboratories, food processing, ‘clean-room’ facilities, as well as in normal populated environments such as offices and homes.
The BINAY UVC Blade is ideal for the decontamination of:
- Hard to clean/reach surfaces such as remote controls, keyboards, equipment with many accessories, fan and light switch controls, and inaccessible areas that require frequent wipe downs
- Door knobs, bed rails, tray tables, etc.
- Bathroom handrails, toilet surfaces, sinks, and other surfaces
- Various kinds of industrial Hand Tools and surfaces which are in human contact
The UVC Blade can also be effectively used for mould remediation.
The UVC Blade is fully portable and plugs into any standard 230VAC outlet. It comes equipped with a high output UVC lamp, and an oversized handle designed to maximize grip comfort. UVC safety glasses are provided with the unit.
Method of Use: Hold and slowly move the BINAY UVC Germicidal Blade over the surface of the disinfected area for a minimum of 20-30 seconds while keeping the height less than 10mm from the object.
